About

Updates
As of Jan 2012 - I am pregnant! :) So, my blog will take a new turn... a turn towards baby products. I had never had that chance with my first one, so I definitely want to see what is out there now. Its been over 7 years since my first pregnancy, and I am looking forward to trying new things.

April 2013 - the baby is now almost 8 months old. Time sure does fly!

About the blog...
I started this blog in August 2008, not having a clue as to what I was doing. I didn't start with the plans of making it a business. Blogging, in my mind, were for those who can get a lot of people to read.  I just wanted an outlet. A place to write. A place to explore feelings. As of April 2013, it's been almost 5 years, and still holding true to that idea of being an outlet, a place to write, a place to share.

I am not in a mad dash race to get as many readers as I can. Sure, more is always welcome, and sincerely appreciated. But the blogger with many likes/followers but no Real readers is a fool. The blogger who stays true to their self and has few followers, has the most.

I use this blog to write about anything and everything. Really, no holding back. Its personal sometimes, and I am OK knowing that there are strangers reading it. I hope that maybe you guys can help me when I need it. I also look forward to helping someone when they need it. I am the one my friends come to when they need help, or need suggestions/ideas/tips.

Reviews and giveaways...
It seems that some blogs only do reviews and giveaways. Well, that is not me. You will see posts in here that are more than just that. Yeah, I have reviews on my blog. But not all are paid. Not all I was asked to write. Some things/places I review just because I want to share an experience with you. I am very open to reviewing, but my blog is not going to turn into a review blog. Its always going to be personal. Its always going to relate to my life, and where I am in it. So don't worry. I am not going down that route. Ever.  I would start a new blog before I do that.

As far as what I'll review, well, that can be a long list. I want nothing to be out of bounds. I will do reviews on; makeup/beauty products, movies, locations, restaurants, gadgets (such as phones, tablets, apps, etc), as well almost anything that I feel fits me and my life. I will never review something that has nothing to do with my life, or seems to be out of the picture.
*Please see the Contact page for information on how discuss me reviewing your product.

I really am looking forward to expanding my horizons with my blog. I am looking forward to gaining more readers, and getting farther with my blog than I could have ever imagined. I plan to go places. And I want to thank you all in advance for sticking with me while I expand, and also for following my blog - your words of encouragement, and your support. Its very much appreciated.
-----------

I am no super woman or super mom. Nor is he superman or super dad. But we try out best. And thats my goal for the blog. I want to use this blog to share with everyone that simple fact. No one is perfect. We all try our best. We try to do what is important. We all parent differently. And there is nothing wrong with that. Not all of us can be even tempered. Sometimes, we need to walk away from the situation to clear our head, and we do that for the sake of our kids!

Know this - I do not judge others for their parenting (unless its really bad, then theres no holding back). I do not judge others. So do not judge me. I have a motto: be true to yourself. Its really simple. And I plan to stand true to it.

About Jennifer

Wanna hear (or read) a life story? No? OK. How about just the major part of one? Yes!? Yay! Keep reading!  Warning....... Its a bit long.

My name is Jennifer, I am a mom and a wife. I currently live in Chandler, Arizona. I have been here since September 2004. I am originally from Ohio. I have two kids, my son (born July 2004) is from a previous relationship. My husband has been in our lives since my son was 3 months old. So he is all my son knows. I also have a daughter with my husband. She was born September 12, 2013! I work from home as a content writer / freelance writer. I also am a mystery shopper - yes, there is legit mystery shopping. I post about it now and then. Feel free to ask!

I met my husband in a Yahoo chat room. I know- your thinking, wow, thats lame. I know. But back in 2004, chat rooms were still kinda cool. I was bored often because I did not know anyone out here in Arizona since I had just moved here, so I went into chat rooms. This was before I had a Myspace page. And definitely before Facebook was created. In any case, we started talking, and we have a lot of similarities. The only problem was that he lived 2 hours south of me. So, I didn't get to meet him till Thanksgiving, where I went to his parents house where he was visiting for the holidays (about 45min North of where I lived), and so I met him, and my mom met his parents and his aunt who was in from Ohio. Eric was only a few months old, and they loved him!

So anyways. Me and Chris totally hit it off. I'm sorry, Did I not tell you my husbands name? Ugh! Its Chris. Or really Christopher. But, Chris.

So we hit it off. And I would down to Tucson on weekends with my moms car- I didn't have one. ((Thank you mommy!))  I would go down there every weekend, and if it was a holiday weekend, I managed to stay down there an extra day. It was so much fun. He loved seeing Eric. LOL I think back, and I swear it was love at first sight. It was so cute to see Chris hold and feed Eric. My heart fluttered.

We talked early about getting married. We knew we were gonna be together forever. Even tho there is a 6 year difference between us, we knew it. He would call me his wifey LOL.  Then on Valentines day 2005 (just 4 months after being together) he proposed. I was excited. I kinda knew it was gonna happen. I didn't let him know that till later on though.

I moved in with him in June of 2005. I bought a car before I moved though. My first car - 99 Buick LeSabre. I loved my car. I later traded it in. But I absolutely loved that car. Moving was definitely interesting. I had never lived on my own before, and I had to learn how to be a grown up. I was very excited, but very scared.

So, fast forward. We got married in March of 2008 - in Las Vegas no less (go big or go home right?) It was awesome. Don't get it confused, we planned it out there. And No, Elvis did not marry us.

We've had out ups and downs, and we get through it. Thats what you do!
