Let's Have a Tea Party!

I was so excited when said they'd like to work with me. I had never had a formal tea set of my own, so I was anxiously awaiting my choice. They let me choose a set of my own, and I was torn between two different sets. I asked them to choose for me between the two. I'm excited with their choice!

I received the English Rose Tea Set. It is very fancy, what I imagine a formal tea set would look like. It includes the teapot, six cups, six saucers, cream and sugar container.   It shipped so fast and came via UPS. It was packaged well, each piece was safely contained. Except for one teacup. One of the cups had a handle that was broken. I told Enjoying Tea and they quickly sent me a replacement. It made its way to me perfectly safe.

So as soon as my daughter saw the set, she cried out, "Tea party!!" So I knew that meant I could not hide it. So we set the tea set out on the dining room table, and we had a tea party.

Enjoying Tea also sent me a small canister of loose leaf tea. I had never used loose leaf tea before, so I was trying to figure out how much I should use. So, I eyeballed it. I think I made a good guess because the tea tasted great.

The teapot has the strainer in it, so when you use loose leaf tea, the leaves won't go through to your cup. So my son, my daughter and I sat at the table and had tea. It was wonderful!

Since then, my daughter and I have had a few more tea parties while big brother was in school. And anytime someone starts to cough or feel like their throat is a little sore my son is quick to grab a pot, put water in it and put it on the stove.

Even though the photos look beautiful, I feel like the set is prettier in person. The gold trim along the handles and top is so pretty. The flowers are delicately painted on and you can see, there is so much detail! This set is beautiful, and would make a great addition to your home, or as a gift to the tea lover in your life.

You can order this set as well, just look for SPE09, or English Rose on the website.

The links included in this post will earn me points on the Enjoying Tea website should you decide to make a purchase! Thanks for helping me order free tea :)
