So a while back, I received the opportunity to try a three-month subscription to Bulu Box. I had never heard of it before, so I was unsure what it was. It is a monthly subscription box for healthy products. They offer workout aids, health & nutrition products, supplements, etc.
The original features a sampling of all things health and nutrition. Each box contains 4-5 premium samples such as sports nutrition, sleep, and healthy snacks. There is also lifestyle extras like gym gift cards or DVDs to cover all aspects of health.
There is also the weight loss box. This box is designed specifically to help with the varying factors of weight loss. The box contains 4-5 premium weight loss items like energy aids, healthy snacks, sleep aids and fat burners. You'll also get bonus weight loss items like fitness gear and kitchen tools.
They offer a variety of price plans. Month to month it's $10/box. They also offer a 3 month ($30) and 6 month ($60) plan, but they are at $10 a box, so no savings there. The 12-month plan is where the savings are at. That one is $110, or $9.17 a month.
You can also choose to shop their website for the various products you sample in your box. I've seen popular products as well as ones I've not heard of. This would be perfect for helping you keep your weight loss goals for the new year.
So in my three boxes, I was about 50/50. Some items I was excited for, some was just, eh.
So here's the top of the box. It's very motivational.
Here is a look at what I got. *note, this photo shows two boxes, at this time I had only received these two. The third box's photo has since disappeared from the drafted post, as well as my computer.
A closer look at one box.
I have to say, this box showed me that I am NOT a fan of protein bars. They lack any actual taste even though they're flavored. If you're into those, then you may love these. Me, not so much. My kids didn't like them either.
Some of the products in this box include:
Adaptogen Science Performance Furian: helps with appetite suppression, supports aggressive body fat reduction, supports hormone balance. Based on the sample, I didn't notice anything.
Skinny Me: This is a tea that is caffeine free. It is for detox and cleanse. It will eliminate built up toxins and excess waste. It was a great tasting tea, but I'm not sure you'll see results with just one use.
Apothederm: this is the body prep scrub. It exfoliates and rejuvenates and smoothes skin. It is great for all skin types. It was a nice scrub, I enjoyed it. The sample size was great.
Vitaperk: This stuff dissolves in your coffee. It can be put into hot or cold coffee. It supports memory, energy and heart health. It comes in four flavors. It is gluten free, kosher, naturally flavored and only adds 5 calories to your coffee. I tried it. I could barely taste it (which may be a good thing).
Met-RX Prime Protein Bar: It's a protein bar. What more do you need to know? LOL. They have three flavors. They are gluten free, have 12 G of fiber, 200 cals and packed with Omega-3s and Flaxseed. Like I said earlier, I am not a fan of these. Or any protein bar. I hope to one day find a protein bar I can get behind, but so far, nada.
And here is another sample box. Some of these items include:
Miracle Tree: This is an organic tea made from the moringa plant. There are a variety of flavors, each with different uses/benefits. I enjoyed this one.
Berry Sleepy: This is made to help promote a deep, beneficial sleep calming body and mind. It is made of three all-natural superfruits and contains naturally-occurring vitamins and antioxidants. It didn't work for me. But nothing really seems to.
Shapeology Umph: This is part of the Shapeology line. This one is the pre-workout drink mix. It tastes like fruit punch but without all the sugar. It features a new, unique blend that is focused on giving you the best workout of your life with 0 cals and 0 carbs.
Lentil Crackers: Made by Mediterranean Snacks these crackers are made with all natural ingredients, low fat and gluten free and non-GMO. They tasted OK, but I'm not sure this is something I'd buy again. I think maybe I'll try another flavor before ruling them out altogether.
Sinclair Select Personal Lubricant: This doesn't appear to be on the website any longer. I didn't use it, but I did open the packet to feel it. It has a nice texture and is not sticky. Would be useful if you need it.
If you're looking for healthy products, this is your box. You can buy any of the products I mentioned on their website.
Check out their website and see what they have to offer. I've found items in a variety of price ranges, so there's something for everyone.
Tell me, what are your favorite, tasty protein bars. I need something to give protein but that tastes good! Or any protein-packed snacks you can recommend?
