Organize Your Photos and Tell Your Story With Picjoy + a Giveaway

This post was created in partnership with Mom Buzz Media.
picjoy ROF
Picjoy is an intelligent photo library that automatically organizes all of your precious photos and helps you locate them instantly. Can you imagine having all of your photos organized? That’s what’s so exciting about PicJoy.

◆ RECORD ◆ Record the details and stories behind each of your photos. ◆ ORGANIZE ◆ Watch Picjoy instantly organize your photos for you - no matter where they are stored! ◆ FIND ◆ Search by category or keyword to retrieve any photo you've ever taken right from your mobile phone.

This app is pretty cool. It will organize all your photos in your phone by date. If you're like me and have an iPhone, you're probably thinking "But my phone already does that". The best part is that you can create stories with it. So say you have a day at the water park, or you're taking a ton of photos on vacation, you can easily organize them into a story that you'll love to share. You can even label each photo with categories or keywords so that you can easily go back and find them. Example, I find myself taking screen shots of recipes that I see online (only short ones that will fit on one screen), I can label them all as recipes, and then easily go back and find all the screenshots of recipes on my phone. Later when I feel like making it, I can easily find it while I'm shopping and buy all the ingredients. Or, eventually I'll gather the strength to write them all down or type them up for my own saving for future use. Just for the category/keywords alone, this app is pretty awesome.

PICJOY is available now on iTunes FREE for a limited time! DOWNLOAD on iTUNES NOW!

Picjoy photo app will also be available for the Android market on Google Play soon so be looking for it!

Company is Coming? Quick, Throw Everything Behind The Couch!

I don't know how these other moms do it. They always seem to have a spotless home. I rarely have a spotless home. I'm not perfect. I don't want to pretend to be either. I'm one of those moms that will get a call that company is coming over, and quickly run around trying to put everything away! I am not ashamed to say that I've thrown toys, and clothes, behind the couch and cleaned it up later after guests have left (come on, don't act like you've never done it).

Sadly, I won't have a living room that looks like it came out of a Better Homes & Gardens magazine until the kids are out of the nest. Or at least until my toddler is a teenager at the very earliest.

I'm one of those people that can't seem to figure out what to clean and when. I feel like I'm doing everything every day. I never understood those people who like to clean to calm themselves. I mean, really? How does that work? Can you explain that to me?

Sure, I'm a stay at home mom. I should have all the time in the world, right? Nope. I also have a blog (and very needy children). I've been slacking on my blog because of the kids. I'm also the main driver, so I take my husband to and from work (he doesn't have a license, never has, super long story related to the death of his father). I feel endlessly tired, but such is the life of a mom, right?

seriously, insert the image of an overtired mom here. that'd be me.

But being a stay at home mom doesn't automatically qualify me as a maid. I'm not a maid. Nor would I ever want to be a maid. Not that those women aren't worthy, they are amazing, I just couldn't do it - can someone send a maid this way?

Luckily for me, my husband does the majority of the dishes. Well, he loads the dishwasher, and my son empties it. So I didn't put dishes on my list. Nor did I put taking out the garbage. Since we live in apartments, my hubby just takes it to the closest bin to our unit whenever the trash bag is full. So there are two things off my list that I rarely need to worry about.

The rest however, I feel like its a neverending nightmare.

I mean, I have my 11-year-old son, who claims to like to help but yet never seems to want to help. Sometimes I feel like I'm selling my soul to get the boy to clean up something. Then there's my toddler, she's much better at making messes than she is cleaning them. Though just yesterday I gave her a magic eraser and she and her brother went around cleaning the walls. She actually started humming to herself while doing it. Super adorable by the way.

So like I said, I was searching around Pinterest, and came across a pin that My First Apartment had pinned. It was perfect as a template. It was an apartment housekeeping plan (see that plan here, at My First Apartment). I thought, cool, I can do this. Then I realized that some of it wasn't tailored to me/what I need. So, I headed over to PicMonkey and made my own version.

Since I have kids, I don't specify what days I vacuum. We just do it when it's needed. I'm hoping that kitchen floors will be OK once a week, but I fear that will end up being something I do more regularly than I'd like. Or maybe "kitchen floors" can just mean steam mop. Yup. Ok. That's settled. I'll sweep and Swiffer mop as needed, but steaming only on the day designated for kitchen floors. ;)

Anyways. I thought I'd share my list with you. If you'd like to print it yourself, please feel free to do so! Pin it to Pinterest and share it around! Hopefully, it will bring some sense of peace to someone like myself who can't seem to find the calm in cleaning.  If you'd like to download it, click here.

What do you do, do you use a cleaning schedule like this one? Do you follow some popular site like Fly Lady? I couldn't follow her, it's just not me. Share in the comments!

I would love for you to share pins of your favorite cleaning tips/charts/schedules on my Readers Cleaning Tips board! Since Pinterest does not have open boards, you'd have to send me a message to request to join. On the web: click the notifcations tab at the top right of the screen, click messages, and then send new message.  If on the app, click the notifications button at the bottom, then click messages, and send me one using the red + button :) I look forward to pinning with you!

iBotta Rebates and June Teamwork Bonus

If you don't already have Ibotta on your phone, you're seriously missing out! I LOVE getting cash back. Just the other day I cashed out $21 from ONE shopping trip! I redeemed Veev Vodka and Veev Vitafruit mixed cocktails. With those I earned bonuses for May and got an extra $3 or so (I had some money on my account before I cashed out). Overall, with very little work I've got a total lifetime of over $50. And that's without doing much work or trying very hard. I know if I plan well I'll get SO much more out of it.

With June's teamwork bonus, we can earn up to $10 extra! You should join my team and we can help each other out!

Review: Case And More iPhone 6 Crystal Clear Case

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pm78e47c847242a09b099c9100497a3cb4

I love having multiple cases for my iPhone. Or any phone I own. With my previous phone, I had so many cases I could probably match to every outfit. I should probably sell those old cases. I just got my iPhone back in Feb due to my LG G2 dropping and breaking. I paid to upgrade my phone early and went back to the iPhone now that they're bigger than before. I love my iPhone 6, and so naturally I'm trying to protect it as best as I can.

I was sent this hybrid bumper case, and at first I'll be honest, I was super skeptical. I've purchased a case that looked simple, and it was simple. The case was flexible and barely protected it. I have stored it away in my "case drawer". The place my cases rest until they are used again... or sold.
