Review: Mi Bella Reina 24K Collagen Gold Face Mask

So I've posted info about Mi Bella Reina before (check it out here). I got to try it a few months ago, but I forgot to post my experience about it! So I'm going to do it now :)

Mi Bella Reina, if you aren't familiar, is a beauty company that focuses on vegan and organic beauty products. Everything from cosmetics, skincare, nail polish, foot care, aromatherapy and spa products. All with vegan and organic in mind. Many people want products that are free of toxins and chemicals, if that's something you are passionate about, you'll enjoy this company's products.

About The Mask
From the website:
"The Nancy Reagan 24k Gold Collagen Face and Neck mask combo is an innovative gold collagen mask formulated with bio-active ingredients including pure natural extracts and plant collagen. The one-way absorption and hydration of this mask is more than 98% which allows nutrients and moisture to penetrate deep into the skin and produce real results in just 10-20 minutes."
*Note, I only received the mask by itself, I did not recieve the neck combo, so I can't speak on that.

Using The Mask
So I tried the mask one night after I showered. I washed my face as I usually do and used the mask. Here are the directions:
Open the mask and pour the liquid into a small cup. Massage the liquid into the skin until skin is moist. Gently remove the mask from the pakage and apply by centering over the eyes first then laying down across nose and lips. Leave on for 20-30 mins. Lightly massage in any remaining liquid.

I did that. Except, I lasted only about 10 mins. It started to feel weird on my face. I think my skin was getting irritated by it. When I took it off, I did notice some slight redness showing on my skin which normally wouldn't be there after being freshly washed.

Here are some photos...

Fresh faced out the shower.

Applied the mask.
It made sense for me to lay back in bed and wait the 20-30 mins. However, it still slid around a bit on my face. Literally smiling because of how ridiculous I thought I looked moved it and it started closing in on my right eye (left as you look at the photo). You can see the other eye started appearing elongated and it moved down onto my lip.

The last phoeo I took before I needed to take it off. It has slid drastically on my face. I followed the directions, so I'm not sure why it was moving.

The tingling (almost burning) feeling left this redness on my forehead, cheeks and chin. Due to the horroble lighting in my room you can really see it on my cheeks.

I think I may have had some sort of allergic reaction to it. I gave the other two masks I received to a friend, and she loved it. So, it was probably just me. I don't typically think of my skin as sensitive, but something in here sure didn't sit well with my face.

Check out the Mi Bella Reina, and take a look around. Let me know if you buy anything. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the makeup if you have purchased it in the past.
