The award-winning LEGO KidsFest returns to Glendale's University of Phoenix Stadium from Feb. 27 - March 1.
My son is super excited when he saw me pull this up on my computer right now. We've never been, but he is all about LEGO. He loves to build things and create crazy cool stuff. He can easily build a set in 30 mins, sometimes less. The instructions are helpful, but sometimes he'll be pages ahead just based off the photo of the item. He said once that he wants to work at LEGOLAND building sets when he is older. Though he still wants to be a firefighter... Maybe he could do both.
We are super excited to be going this year. I'll be taking my toddler, too and she loves the Duplo blocks!
Those who attended the previous show can once again expect hands-on building, creative experiences and one-of-a-kind activities. Children of all ages and builders of all skills and levels are welcome.
LEGO KidsFest features dozens of new activities and popular favorites on the three-acre show floor. New activities for this year's visit include LEGO Mindstorms, LEGO Movie, LEGO Fusion, LEGO Disney Princess, the Mixels, a LEGO Superheroes area and more.
Once again, show-goers can enjoy the LEGO Model Museum, Race Ramps, Creation Nation, Construction Zone, LEGO DUPLO, LEGO Retail Store and LEGO KidsFest Marketplace, the Big Brick Pile, LEGO Ninjago and more.
Five identical sessions are available for the three-day tour stop. LEGO KidsFest tickets are $22.50 for adults and $19.50 for children and can be purchased online at http://www.legokidsfest.com.
The LEGO KidsFest 2015 tour stops include Arizona (Glendale): February 27 - March 1; Missouri (St. Louis): March 20 - 22; Tennessee (Nashville): April 17 - 19; and Texas (Austin): September 4 - 6.
On tour since 2009, previous LEGO KidsFest tour stops have included major cities such as Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, San Jose, Cleveland, Houston, Detroit and more. Tickets generally sell out and attendance averages 27,000 visitors at each venue. To date, more than 700,000 have enjoyed more than 35 LEGO KidsFest shows. In 2014, the tour made its first stop in Alberta, Canada, selling out a week before the show.
In 2013, LEGO KidsFest was awarded Best Proprietary Event by Event Marketer Magazine. LEGO KidsFest is managed by BuzzEngine, an event and marketing agency.
