Get Paid to Write for Top Brands with Markerly's Blogging Network

If you have a blog, chances are you review items. There are also pretty high chances that you are on a few networks that offer products to bloggers to review or have posted sponsored content. Have you heard of Markerly? I have, and I've done some reviews for them. It is a great way to get brands to notice your blog, and want you to post about them.

Markerly offers quite a bit for their bloggers. When you join their blogging network you get 24/7 blogger support. If you ever have any trouble, it isn't hard to get in touch with someone. Markerly gives you heat maps of your entire post, so you can see what people were clicking on (which is great if you can't already see that on your blog, and chances are, you don't see that now!). They pay quickly, within 48 hours of your post going live! I've been paid for posts, and have waited up to six weeks for payment. No more! I've learned that I should get paid within a reasonable amount of time, and six weeks is just not reasonable.

Markerly also works with big brands like Levi's, the Super Bowl, TruMoo, eMeals and more! Many of the brands they work with offer not only paid posts, but reviews and samples. Past samples have been wine from Last Bottle Wines, Invio and even earbuds from Jaybird. The network is open for anyone to join as long as you have over 10k page views a month, or an average of three comments per post. Markerly loves bloggers that have engaged audiences, as well as quality blog posts.

This is one of my favorite blogging networks to work with. I've gotten to try products from some great brands, that I may not have heard about or tried before. Did I mention they pay quickly? I hate waiting around for a payment, especially for six weeks. To know that Markerly pays quickly was a major deciding factor when I signed up with them.

Markerly is also including a $250 American Express gift card giveaway! Anyone can enter - bloggers and readers! So feel free to enter (and share this page too)!

Review: Me-ify Potty Star App

*This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Me-ify Potty Star and MomSelect. All thoughts and opinions are my own. For more information, see my disclosure page.*

The Me-ify Potty Star App (for iPhone) is a cute app that will aid in potty training your child. The app features a personalized eBook starring your potty training child, 5 interactive potty games, 5 original potty songs, star rewards chart (which is reusable) and helpful potty training tips.

This app was developed with parenting expert Julie A. Ross, and the creators of PBS KIDS preschool television hits Super Why! and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

You can create a personalized cartoon avatar of your child. Choose from 5 skin tones, 4 eye colors, 2 pairs of glasses, 8 boy and 8 girl hair styles, 8 t-shirts, and 8 star freckles. You can even record your child's name so that in the book it is YOUR voice saying your child's name. Otherwise, you can choose a generic name in the app, (such as Campbell).

Review: Herbal Essences Naked Collection

Disclaimer: I received compensation to purchase and review this item. Please see my disclosure page for more information.

I recently had the chance to review a new product from Herbal Essences called Naked. The Naked line has 0% heavy residues, dyes and parabens. They have three types to choose from, volumizing, moisture and shine. I received the Naked Volume Kit. It is said to restore 100% of your hair's natural body, and the strands will feel revitalized and refreshed. It is infused with white grapefruit and mint extracts. In the set I got, it had the shampoo, conditioner, dry shampoo (in a travel size) and souffle (mousse).

New Year, New Resolutions

So I haven't posted for a while. Its been busy with the holidays. But I'm here now :)

So, it's 2014. Many people are making resolutions. This is probably a big time of year for the gyms and fitness centers. Probably are getting a ton of new memberships sold. But will all those new memberships stay active? Or will most of them stop coming in a month or so? This is exactly why I do not make resolutions. There are too final. I mean, it even sounds final. So I make goals.
