A Look Back at 2014

Can you believe it's already New Years Eve? This year time just flew by. I don't know what happened. I guess that's what happens when you're having fun, right? So this post is a reflection back on my year. The fun, the laughter, and what I hope to achieve in 2015!

So 2014 for us was a fun-filled year.

In July, we went to Rocky Point, Mexico. The vacation actually fell on Eric's 10th birthday, so he had a BLAST! It was his (and Bella's) first time at the beach. They had so much fun. We went with my in-laws who go there nearly yearly. The worst part of the trip (for me) was getting stung by a jellyfish. Yup. I got stung. In-laws have been going for almost 15 years, and they've never even seen one there. But apparently July is the time of year they start coming. The worst part, it was a Man-O-Wars jellyfish - the worst kind to be stung by! It's the most painful in that area, and I can attest to it. I've never had a pain like that. The ocean pushed it on me in a wave. I never saw it, not even after. Others in our party did, though. I don't think I even created a post for the trip, but I know that I posted quite a few pics on Instagram! Go check them out. It was so beautiful.
We plan to go back in 2015, too.

In August, my husband and I went to Las Vegas for my 28th birthday. We love Fremont street so we stayed there at the Golden Nugget and had an absolute blast! My husband has family in Vegas and Henderson, so it's always nice to go and see them. We want to go back to the annual Vegas family party (there's a birthday and everyone flies in yearly LOL) in March, we'd take the kids for that one. But we're trying to make the birthday one a "thing" we do yearly. Even if just for the weekend.
My favorite part was taking pics with a Miley impersonator.

And the selfie my husband took with me. He doesn't take selfies LOL.

In September, Bella turned 2!!!

In November, I took my son Eric to the Black Violin concert in Chandler, Arizona at the Chandler Center for the Arts. He loved it! He absolutely thought they were the coolest thing ever, and has an even bigger interest in playing the violin! Since we're already in the middle of the school year, I figure I'd call the band director up and find out what is needed for him to start playing. He doesn't know how, nor do we have a violin. So, we'll get that figured out.

I have high hopes for 2015. We plan to go back to Mexico in June or July. We are going to try two trips to Vegas, one in Mach while Eric is on spring break and one in August with no kids for my birthday. I am going to try to live a healthier lifestyle. I want to get a Fitbit or something similar to help keep me on track. I'm not making a resolution, I hate those. I make goals for the new year. I'm excited to see what the year holds.

I think this year was a great year for my blog. I gained more followers, had more giveaways, and have so much more to do! I can't wait to see how much it will grow in 2015! I can honestly say that my goals set for 2014 were met, in terms of my blog. I wanted new followers, and I did that!

In 2015, I hope to try to add more personal posts. I used to do that quite often, but I feel like I have such a boring life that at times I don't know what to share! But I am going to work on posting more personal bits of content. I want to share my life with you guys. If you follow me on Instagram you see pics of my kids quite often, and I want to do that here, too.

So, what are your goals for 2015? Did you meet all of your goals for 2014? Comment below and share!
