Week One Using Clearproof

I've been struggling with blackheads and acne since I was a teenager. I figured at some point I'd become an adult and it would all go away. But that hasn't been the case! The blackheads on my nose hasn't ever gone away. I've tried everything, those pore strips, blackhead face washes, exfoliators, etc. Nothing works! At least not for me. I've picked at them, squeezed the dirt out, etc. But it fills right back up. I don't know why!

Then I received a full size kit of Clearproof by Mary Kay from Influenster. This kit is an acne system designed to help clear your skin, hence the name. I've been using it for a week now, keep on reading below to see if it has helped or if I noticed a difference.

I mean, I'm 28 and I still have these problems, and it sucks. Makeup can only cover so much before it looks like Halloween makeup. So I was happy to receive this, but super skeptical at the same time.

I received the face wash, toner, on the spot treatment and moisturizer.

Below is my before photos. Excuse my horrible lighting. I took the photos in a dark bedroom using the flash LMAO. So you can't see every imperfection. I have blackheads on my nose, I tend to break out in my cheeks (the hollow area under the cheek bones). I also get blackheads and small pimples on my chin, whiteheads tend to show up on my left cheek (right side in the photo). I also have discoloration around my eyes. Again, this posts photos SUCK. The next one I'll take during the daytime in direct sunlight, because this photo my skin looks decent.

So, like I said, I've been using it for a week now, and I can tell a HUGE difference! The blackheads are clearing and going away. There are far less of them then there were before. The pimples in my cheeks have gone away, and they haven't gone away in MONTHS!

Now, I can't blame any of this on hormones, I'm on Depo (birth control shot) so I don't get a monthly. I don't believe that hormones are a factor in my breakouts as they are in most women.

Below are my photos after one week.

Like I said, these photos aren't the best at all! But I see a difference. In the natural lighting (and even my bathroom lighting) my face is clearer, looks healthy and I look (and feel) like I'm glowing. I'll post another pic at the end of week two, and again, with better lighting!

I wish I had an affiliate link, but I don't. You can get the Clearproof system from the Mary Kay website, or contact a local rep and order directly from them.
