October Birchbox Review

I LOVED this months Birchbox! I was SO happy to finally get a beautyblender that I literally jumped for joy. I wanted it to come in one of my boxes because I wanted to make sure that I actually liked it before I bought it (they aren't as cheap as makeup wedges). So I was super ecstatic!
Come read to see what else I got!

Can I just say, it wasn't until recently that I started noticing that they always put something fun before your name on your box. This month, mine says "Encore-Worthy". Well aren't I special?

Here is my box in all its glory.

My only complaint is that my perfume sample appears as if its been sitting around a while. The writing is rubbed off in a lot of places. I mentioned it to the brand and Birchbox, but I don't recall getting any actual answer for it. However, this perfume is AMAZING. I do love the scent. It's light and fresh and isn't too over powering. This is a little roll on, so its perfect for my purse!
SAGE + fasten Onward Eau de Parfume - $50 for a 50ml bottle.

ModelCo has been a brand that has been popping up in quite a few of my boxes. I have a mascara from them, and something else (its slipping my memory as to what though). But I was able to choose this sample for my box this month. I chose ModelCo Party Proof Matte Lipstick in Kitty. It's a soft pink. To me, this is a nude pink. I don't even think that is a legit color category, but that's what it is to me! I love it! ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick Trio - $24.00

I also got dr. brandt pores no more vacuum cleaner. I used this once and I didn't notice a huge difference in the blackheads on my nose. However, I said I only used once. Maybe I needed to use more than once? In any case, not sure I'd buy the full size without seeing that it works. The full size is $45. Or you can purchase the dr. brandt Exclusive Clean Up Nice kit for $45 which features a few products, probably all close to sample size and comes with a bag to put them all in.
This came in my box in the little black pot. I used it only a few times, and it felt great on my hands. It made my hands nice and smooth when I thought they were already smooth! It smells great, and I really enjoy it. I am keeping this sample in my purse. The full size for this is only $13.95, so I'm likely to purchase.
Oh and my fave... the beautyblender. The image shown is the double pack, but you can see in the photo of my box that I got a single one, and it came with a cleaner for it. I want it! You have no idea how obsessed with this I am. If you don't know anything about the beautyblender, you get it wet. Allow it to soak up the water and then squeeze it out. Then use the sponge to apply makeup. Don't rub, use it like your patting or blotting. It blends that way. And since it's wet, it doesn't soak up your makeup like a typical makeup sponge/wedge would! It easily cleans with the cleaner and I'm just so in love! This double pack costs $28.95. They also have a black sponge that doesn't show all the colors that may stain the pink. Even though you clean it, the makeup will at some point color the pink. I love love love love love love love love love it.
