Find Out If Your Car Has Recalled Parts

My mother-in-law brought this to my attention today. With so many recalls going on, how do you know if your car has a recall? Especially if you're not the original owner and you bought it used? My car was bought used, and so you never really know if your info gets to the manufacturer (in my case, Ford).

So I Googled. I found that you can search by your vin number to see if your car has a recall! So, check your car out here, and if you need to be fixed, get it fixed.

You should know though, the manufacturer will only fix recalled parts for free within 8 years of original sale date. If its older than that, they may charge you a small fee to fix.

I was not paid to post this. Just wanted to share!
