A week or so ago, I took my grandma to the hospital (don't worry folks, she's alright). And one of the things I noticed was the blue phones, with 2 hand sets. I realized that was translation services for those who don't speak English and need help. Its kind of cool that those phones are around, and I've never seen them out like that before. They were in every room too. Which was cool.
There is a company based out of London called Rosetta Translation (not sure if there's a relation with Rosetta Stone, the company that helps you learn a language). Rosetta Translation is a translation agency that offers translation services for all major languages. This is especially helpful for those who do business with companies/people in different countries, and the documents received are in another language other than your own. They can translate documents, and help with legal, financial, technical and even medical translation. This is especially helpful if you are visiting a country whose primary language is something other than yours, and you go to the hospital and want to request a copy of those documents. Rosetta Translation agency can help you translate those. The company also provide interpreting services.
The website offers a free quote at their local offices, which are located in London, Shanghai, New York, Luxembourg and Paris. You can check them out on their website by visiting them here.
