Thats what my son said to me about a year ago or so, while running into the bathroom. So I, (being a smart mouth) say, "Thanks for the update." You know what he yells back? "Your Welcome!" Yea, he was about 6 at the time. Sometimes kids say the funniest things! And I wish I had cameras in my house at all times to record these moments. Seriously, put me on a reality show. Not that my life is really that exciting, but I would love to have all his moments recorded for me to look back at.
That brings me back to when he was a baby. Boys are notorious for peeing on people when you change their diaper. Me and my sister learned that the hard way. I was sitting on the floor changing his diaper, she was on the couch behind me. He peed with the diaper off, and he managed to hit both my sister and me! Same stream! So from then on, I put a wipe over his business, and it actually worked. He never peed when I changed him again! Now, being pregnant with #2, I really hope its a girl, but I think I've only changed a girls diaper like once before, and I don't have any tricks for that, any suggestions?
What about potty training? Did you try the cereal technique (putting cheerios in the potty as target practice)? I hope not, I know someone who said their kid then peed in the cereal bowl one morning. Soo yea, not gonna do that. Also, I never rewarded my son with candy stickers or anything, except cheers, clapping and kisses and hugs, when he went in the potty. I didn't want him to expect stuff every time he did something good. It worked for us, although I know some parents do offer rewards.
