Alright, my Mamavation peoples.. I didn’t realize it was so long since I posted… I have been working, and when I started working, I was told it was for 25hrs a week. Which I was perfectly fine with… Well, its actually 40. I was not prepared, neither was my life! LOL
Anyways. I am back this week.
Question of the week :
Who in your world deserves a “shout out” this week for pushing you to better yourself? What did they do?”
Of course, this goes to my husband. He always wants me to do better. Always wants me to reach new heights. Always wants me to surprise even myself. I have been drinking more water – thanks to him. Today alone, all I drank was water, and just about a gallon of it. And I was up early! Usually, I like to sleep in. Even though today is Easter, we don’t have a car, and didn’t go to any ones house. Plus, he had to work. I was up like at 8am, and have been drinking water.. I feel really full from all the water – is that normal?
In any case, my husband is the one who I would like to give a big shout out to… And I am pretty sure all the other wives are shouting to their husbands now too –hopefully in a good way
Alright, so like I said, I am drinking more water. That’s a plus!
I have posted about my son before, and some of you may know that I am a big supporter of Autism Awareness. My son has ADHD, and PDD (Pervasive Development Disorder – an Autism Spectrum Disorder). Well, earlier this month we talked to the doctor at his appointment to check up on that – he also has the symptoms of Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). It runs hand in hand with most ADHD kids. And it’s a real disorder. They can’t really control it. Google it if you have never heard of it. There's no med to cure it – its controlled by the meds that he takes for his ADHD/PDD. I am trying to work with him more, and eventually I hope he grows out of this. Until then, yall may see shreds of hair laying around my house! : ) But its Ok. I’ll be alright.
Ok. So for me, its bedtime. I will see yall tomorrow if I can make it for the Mamavation TV broadcast. I will try. I have yet to make it to one – well, one, but everyone was having problems, so it was cancelled… But I will try to make it to one. : )
