Below is a guest post. My first one ever! I am a stop on the Summer Blog Tour. This post is from Val Selby from MomChats.
Find Balance for More Energy, Mom
More energy is something all of us moms want as much as we want extra hours in the day. There are quite a few ways to increase your energy, but creating some balance in your life is one of the quickest.
Balance in your life means that for all the chaos and responsibilities you have added in a daily time of quiet. It’s essential that you take time to forget the troubles and toils of the day and it doesn’t have to be a long break to help you balance out.
One quick and very inexpensive way is to take one minute, close your eyes and take some deep breaths. Focus on the breathing and nothing else. I find this especially helpful when I feel like my day has gone out of control. I can then refocus my energy to figure out how to get control again.
A big way to create some quiet time to unwind is in the evening. Grab a book, take a bath or a long hot shower and just relax. Besides helping you balance out the day, it has the added benefit of calming you before trying to sleep. A good nights rest is definitely beneficial for more energy.
I am not a morning person, but on days that I know will be especially busy I will get up 10-15 minutes earlier. This way I can enjoy a cup of coffee before the craziness begins. I have found it much easier to enjoy the day when I've taken that time. And when I say I’m not a morning person, believe me it’s true. Lol I’m
a night owl, so getting up earlier than necessary is my least favorite thing to do.
Finding some different ways to regroup will help you have more energy. Instead of researching and coming up with ideas on your own I've written them down in an ebook that you can instantly download, More Energy for Moms. As a thank you to Jennifer for letting me make her blog a stop on my Mom Chats Summer Blog Tour, I’m giving away a copy of the ebook to one of you readers.
Just leave a comment below before midnight EST this Saturday June 25. We’ll be randomly drawing from all comments. One entry per person. For those of you wanting to be entered in a grand prize giveaway, leave a comment on each of the blogs on the tour. I’ll be picking one winner with a huge prize package of
ebooks and some private business coaching.
