Mamavation Monday... Valentines Day - 7yrs ago today he proposed....

First I wanna say that I missed last week. I was sick (Ive been sick since Jan 1!!), also I was setting up my new internet service with the new provider, and it was not acting right, didn't fully have it set up and corrected till like Wednesday.  I apologize.

Also, because I was sick I have not been able to work out as much as I would have liked. I have walked some. Probably about 3 miles this week. I am starting to feel better, so hopefully soon I can get to working out, and even riding my bike.

Those are my goals for the upcoming week. I am going to try to workout at least one day. I have to.

Now, onto what today is! Today is Valentines Day. And my 7th anniversary of getting engaged. Yup, 7 years ago today my husband asked me to marry him. I was the ripe young age of 18 (he was 23). And obviously I said yes. We waited till after I was 21 to get married (what fun is a wedding without drinking?!). It was worth it. We both had that time to grow, get in a bad fight (and split for 6 months) but we found our way back to each other. It helped us. I like to think that after that big fight we haven't fought a lot since then, and when we do, we figure out a way to patch things up. I love him so much. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. A better father for my child. I am so in love. Every day I realize how lucky I am. And I cannot wait to look back 10, 20 years from now and see how much we have grown, and how far we have come.

Plans for Valentines Day... Well, He has to work during the day. I probably won't see him until after 5pm or so. Our Valentines will probably occur the next weekend. Maybe try to get someone to watch Eric for us, and go have a nice dinner together. Not our typical place of Applebees, but somewhere nice. I like Olive Garden, or the Keg. But The Keg is expensive (they serve water in wine glasses!), but they are really nice. We will just have to wait to see how much money we have at that time.  Tomorrow when he comes home, I plan on just cuddling and watching movies. Just being together. And my son will be home from spending time with Grandpa, so all of us together will sit back and enjoy each others company. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get a massage from him : )

OK ladies and gents. I am out. Its about 2am right now, and I am tired. I have the Jazz channel on the radio on, and am gonna try to fall asleep...
